Money Isn’t Everything

Money, one of the worst enemies of all
It’s an illusion that makes us feel proud and tall
When in reality it becomes our greatest fall
Money is necessary to buy the necessities we need in our life
But when used in proper it may some day stab you in the back with a knife
So I beg you do not let it become your master
Or your life could end up in a disaster
Because money can not buy happiness
It will leave you with emptiness
It can only relieve the pain temporarily
That money is only here momentarily
But friends and family are forever
They are the last to say never
That our true riches are in heaven
That if we put others first we may learn a lesson
That when we give
It’s when we truly live
Because we came from nothing
But with God’s grace we were given everything
