Oh how great does it feel when we give
It allows others to get off their knees and live
By putting others first
Who struggle and are at their worst
But never give to receive
But instead give because you believe
You believe you can make a change on this earth
You believe that they have worth
That you are willing to invest in your time and money towards those in need
That there is a greater reward in those who do good deeds
A reward of being part of someone else’s life
Like the reward when your future spouse becomes husband or wife
That you helped mold something broken into something beautiful
And also created a moment so memorable
Because giving is healthy
To give doesn’t mean you have to be wealthy
That it doesn’t matter if you believe in God or not
That it doesn’t matter of how we have been raised or taught
We can still bring joy and love towards those who have nothing
By becoming the change by giving them something
Because we should never give to receive
But we should always give because we believe
