The sky is bright
Every star in the night
Every star has a meaning
Every night I am dreaming
That life is like a shooting star
It travels fast and far
So I’m going to make a wish right now

So if wishes come true

Maybe it’s just my patience

You just have to go to it day by day
Because when I see a shooting  star
I’ll make a wish right now

I’m scared
I don’t know what to do
But life feels empty without you
So why do I feel pain
Even the sun can’t stop the rain
But without rain you will never grow
In time it will eventually show
That there is still beauty
There is still hope
There is still a God
That will never let go
So stand your ground
Don’t let others push you away
Be brave
Let go
Stand tall
Because God is there to catch us when we fall

You are a diamond
You are a jewel
You are an angel
But I’m just a fool
But this fool still loves
This fool still cares
If life was that easy
Than I would already be there
But it isn’t
It takes time and effort to build a beautiful craft
But in the end it will last
For I am the craftsman
And you are the diamond
And together we can create wonders
Beyond anything we could of imagined

I see my breath
Shivers of death
Feeling numb
Heart beats like a drum
Longing for heat
No feeling on my feet
Cold wind blowing
Outside snowing
Chattering my teeth
Wearing layers beneath
Warming up by the fire
Feel damp, need to get dryer
Am I getting old
Or is it just the cold

Don’t let the world tear you down
Because no matter what people say, God is the one who wears the crown
He knows your worth
He’s the one who gave you life, he’s reason of your birth
So don’t let someone’s words become venom to your ears
Don’t let someone’s action bring you tears
Because God uses those who are broken
Shows us a new way, a new chapter, a door about to be opened
Because you are worth everything
And you are capable of anything
You are special and unique
So don’t listen to everyone’s critique
But learn, forgive, and forget
And follow your dreams and path that you have set

I feel pain
I have nothing to gain
Why does it hurt
It all began with a small flirt
But life had a different direction
It was something small turning into an infection
How could I be so blind
There’s no way I can turn back time
Because good friends are hard to find
But I have to move on
So why can’t everyone just get along
Finding someone genuine now seems rare
So why do I care
When they could care less
That my whole life feels like a mess
That life is like a bottle of water
That the day keeps on getting hotter
No matter how much you drink you’re still thirsty
That you don’t feel worthy
But thank God that he gives us hope
From all the bad things we cope
Because he will help us overcome our pain
Even when we hurt he will help us gain
A new meaning in life

“Hey Buddy”
“How’s your day going?”
“I know I had a terrible day to”
“I thought you stopped growing?”
“Well I’m at least home with you”
His tail was wagging
I just sat down and stared with him in the distance
I looked at him and started bragging
“I knew you were the best dog the very instance… ”
“I saw you when you were a little pup”
“Why are you so loyal?”
“You just always know how to cheer me up”
“You always treat me like I’m royal”
“I don’t think I can ever thank you enough for being there for me at my worst”
“You comfort me and make me feel special everyday”
“I know I provide you food and water when you have hunger and when you have thirst”
“But you do the same for me in a different way”
“You’re my companion, my best friend”
“You listen even when I complain”
“Thank you for all the memories and time we spent”
“I know you’re only a short part of my life, but your life revolved in giving me the companion I could of never obtained”
“You are truly a man’s best friend”

How is it possible?
One may ask
When something seems unsolvable
Hides behind a mask
How can anyone overcome these struggles?
Questioning my ability
When life is full of troubles
Not realizing my capability
That maybe I have more strength than I thought
That I am capable of doing great things
By learning from everything I’ve been taught and giving everything I’ve got
Makes me realize of how much joy it brings
That suddenly anything is possible
That I can do anything if I give it my all
So be honest and be responsible
Pick yourself up when you fall
Because life is full of possibilities

I’m going on a adventure
I’m trying something new
I question myself, where should I venture?
So many things I can do
But why take a risk?
Why take a chance?
Don’t be too brisk
Take a second and glance
Is this what you really want?
Change is not always what we want but what we need
We sometimes need a little push, someone to be upfront
Don’t let your life be stolen away from greed
But think of all the experiences you can gain
Of all the stories you can tell
Don’t miss the train
Don’t dwell
On your past
But strive towards the future on what you’ve always wanted to do
And savor each moment, as long as it last
Because out there is an adventure waiting for you
