It’s not by my works

But by His mark

That has been written on me

That has been declared over me

That ‘God has planned in advance my destiny and the good works I would do to fulfill it’

So I stand in You

My foundation

My fortress

I will not be shaken

When I stand in You

Standing strong

Standing in faith

That I will withstand the test

The test of fire

And walk out unscathed

For Your words will stand the test of time

Your word

Your word is true

It sustains me

It fills me with the Gospel

It brings life

Wisdom from the old

Outpouring into something new

It feeds me when I’m hungry

My cup overflows when I’m thirsty

As the angel of the Lord gave Ezekiel and John a scroll to eat

So do we eat the Lord’s Word

And it tasted sweet as honey

May the words I consume be sweet as honey

What I consume will always manifest out

So I choose to consume words of life

So I can speak out words of life

Let me not eat words of death

Because out of death came life

‘It is finished; it is done’

My new life has now begun

You rise

So I can run

Your words fill me with hope

A love that never ends

I meditate day and night

To Your Word

I long for Your presence

Holy Spirit guide me with Your Word

Fill me with Your Word

Bring revelation to me through Your Word

Your word saves

Your word will not return void

Your word is true

Your word is love

Your word speaks fire

For You are the Word

The Word of Life

Refresh me

Oh God

Give me a fresh outpouring

Of your love

Of your grace

Overflow my cup

Make me whole

Make me new

I hunger for You

I search for You

I need You

Your all I need

Your all I want

‘Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me’

‘I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint’

‘Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest’

‘Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice’

Your word sustains me

Your grace is enough

The love of Jesus

The power of His Blood

His Resurrection

His Victory

So we may be set free

That you are a child of God

You are valuable

You are loved

That He gave His life for you

If you only knew

He forgives all my sins

And heals all my diseases

If you only experienced His Presence

His Grace

His Mercy

That He became real to you

If you only heard His voice

His Whisper

His Heart

You would know how to walk from Victory

How to love unconditionally

How to rest in Him

If you only read His Word

Seeked His Truth

Hungered for His Presence

Saw the love of His People

Worshiped whole heartedly

Planted in Faith

Transformed from within

You would know Him

You may not know Him

Or have walked away from Him

The great news is that He knows you

He knows where your at

He meets you there

He knows your pain

Your struggles

Your hurt

He knows what it feels like to be abandoned

To be broken

To be betrayed

He’s been there

And He wants you to know Him

Because He knows you need Him

And when you Know Him

You will never lack

You will always be filled

He always listen

He will always give you a way out

He will never let you down

He will never leave

Or forsake you

He gave you the Holy Spirit

The Helper

To help you

And guide

To build you

And strengthen you

To fill you

To encourage you

To give you Authority

To enrich your heart

To renew your mind

And when you Know Him

You can’t help to share Him

To share the love of Him

“If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace–but now it is hidden from your eyes.”

The great news is that it isn’t hidden from us

We can now Know Him

Experience Him

See Him

Listen to Him

And receive Him into our heart

Mom mom mom

The voice of a child’s cry

Hungry to be nurtured

To be fed

To be comforted

To be loved

Nothing can get in between a mother’s love for its child

To protect

Sensitive to when her child is upset

Listening tenderly

Wraps you into a blanket of love

Of warmth

Of grace

Is there to lift us up when we fall

To bandage us and kiss our owie goodbye

To take our temperature when we are sick

To hear our mom say goodnight

A heart of a mother

Is the heart of God

He is our comforter

He is tender

Loving

Kind

Nurturer

Protector

He gave His Son Jesus to a woman as a seed

So that she may give birth to a new covenant

To a new beginning

To nurture Him and love Him

To hold Him and guide Him

To prepare Him to be King

Not just any king but King of Kings

Lord of Lords

For mothers give birth to image bearers

That reflect the glory of God

So we celebrate moms yesterday today and forever

For they carry the joy of the Lord
