Tape wrapped around my lips
No voice no choice
No room to breath
Just always hushed
Is it because they are scared
That the truth will come out
That we will scream and shout
What did I do wrong
To deserve this
I just thought differently that’s it
Yet I’m judged
I just want to be heard
For someone to listen
To be loved
To have a voice
To have a choice
And don’t use the Bible to condemn others
But use it to love others
Because all have sinned, we all are the people of God
So many churches have fallen to being one of the most hateful group of people
So let’s change that first before trying to change others
Because in Christ they are our sisters and brothers
Love
Because love always wins

Vampire
Vampire
A soulless creatures that sucks blood from its prey to survive
They live amongst us
Draining our energy day by day
Have no care that it will affect our day
That they want what they don’t have
A heart, a life with purpose
Yet they are too blind to see that they already have it
They just don’t have the will to use it
They would rather leech every ounce of positiveness you have
That you have to guard yourself
That you may love them
But you can’t be a part with them
Because they will be a disease
And try to destroy everything you have accomplished
So I beg you stay away from them
They are always thirsty
And you have only so much you can give
Save it for the ones who count
Be strong
Love unconditionally but don’t confuse that with letting others take advantage of you
Because in the end you will be the one who moves on
And for all of you vampires beware
I have garlic and holy water
Teacher
O Captain, my Captain
Such powerful words from a teacher
Inspired his students like he was a preacher
He didn’t just teach from a textbook, but he taught from his heart
He pushed his students to do the unordinary, to be creative, to turn their passion into art
A great teacher is one who is passionate about teaching others
They may not play the role as a father or mother
But they do play a key role in your life
That they teach us how to love learning like it’s our husband or wife
That they genuinely care that you succeed
To turn you from a student to someone who leads
To know that they had a small part towards your success
That they took their time to invest
That they weren’t just a small part but a big part of our life
Without them we wouldn’t be where we are today
Yet they still do this without complaints day by day
Not for the school but for you
So I would like to take the time to thank you for being my teacher
My inspiration, my role models, the reason for my future
So I stand up on my desk and recite
O Captain, my Captain
The In Between
I’m stuck
My heart struck
I’m in limbo
Struggling to let this fear go
Trying to get to point A to point B
Will I finally accomplish what I always wanted to be
Or am I incapable of letting that happen
You’re ready, excited, start laughing
That you will beat the odds
All your life you have been trying to connect the dots
Yet I’m in the in between
Once seen, it will never be unseen
That our transition period it’s the most difficult period in our lifetime
‘Unsure’ feels like we are committing a crime
We are so focused on the beginning and ending that we forget the journey
That we must embrace what we are learning
Because it will be the result of your dedication
Of your determination
So don’t be scared because we all have been through the in between
Hold on and be patient, you’re almost there, it’s not just a dream
But it’s now a reality
We Are All The Same
If we are all the same
Than why am I not just called by my name?
Why is it so easy to judge?
To not let go of something, to hold a grudge
Why can’t we accept people for who they are?
Instead of trying to change what they are?
Suddenly they are not a name but an object
Something disposable, brainless, without logic
Yet with all this hate, God still loves us
He doesn’t care if we are rich or poor
He still loves us the same
Doesn’t matter if we are white, black, or brown
He still loves us the same
Doesn’t matter if you pray everyday and read your bible or if you are a drug addict, a thief, even a murderer
He still loves us the same
I know this is hard to comprehend
But God is the only one who can judge, yet he chooses to mend
He even loves the gays, the transsexuals, the adulterers
Because in God’s eyes we are all the same
We are his children
So for you to judge someone is to also insult a part of his creation
So why is it so easy for us to cast a stone?
As Jesus said to the Pharisees, “he who is without sin can cast the first stone’?”
Have we still not learned all these years
That it’s not about traditions or rules
That God never asked us to defend him
He created the world so why would he need you to defend him
What he wants is for us to love everyone unconditionally
Not just your friends and family but neighbors, even your enemies
A church without love is not a church at all
Because we are the same
So stop it
Seriously stop it
Look around, look at every individual you see
Don’t look at their flaws but at the image that God created them
In the end it’s love that matters
It’s the answer to everything, so simple, yet one of the hardest things to do
So stop preaching
And start doing
So let’s put our differences aside and join together for a similar cause
To love everyone unconditionally
To change the world
Let me hear you say, “I love you, as a person, as a friend, as a child of God”
“You are amazing, you are worthy, you are beautiful…. We are all the same”
That’s all I have to say…
Dear Future Spouse
Dear Future….[ ]
I will always love you
I will always care
I will always be there for you
Even in the midst of despair
Because I took an oath by giving you this ring to wear
That I promise I will be there for you through sickness and through health
Be there when we are poor and will be there when we have wealth
But I will also be there when you burp and fart
Be there when you are crazy, because baby you are a work of art
I will always remember the times we laugh
Or when we played games and did crafts
When you read my mind when we are awkward at a party and make an excuse to get out
When we tickle each other till we shout
When others think we’re weird
When you thought it would be funny to use a sharpie and draw a fake beard
Didn’t realize it was permanent…oh dear
Because baby I will be there through our ups and downs
And never again will we watch a movie with creepy clowns
Still having nightmares
Anyway just wanted to let you know that I love you
That I would do anything for you
That I want to grow old together
And still have the same love for each other
I will cherish every moment
That everyday you become more and more beautiful
That someday I hope we become fruitful
Just not too much fruit
And hopefully the fruit is more sweet than sour if possible
But that’s another chapter for later
Till next time ‘Dear Future Children’
Love
Your one and only

It was Written
It was written
For us to not only know
But for us to share and show
It was written
For a simple man like me
Because my eyes were blind but now I see
It was written
For me to care
And not live in this world with despair
It was written
For me to love everyone no matter what, to not hold a grudge
Because who are we to judge
It was written
For me to shine a light
Against a world full of darkness, a battle against evil versus right
It was written
Because God loves me and you
That gave us the word of God as a sword and shield to use
But it was not written
For us to abuse
By manipulating passages for our own gain and use
So don’t just tell us the word
But show us the word
And set an example towards the word
So the world can see not for what you are
But what they long to be
Because it was written
For you and me
For us to hear and see
For what we long to be
Thankful
Why can’t I do that?
Why can’t I have this?
Why is it that we feel the need to always be entertained?
Always full of words to complain
That we forget that we are blessed
That we are the servers and not the guest
That I want to take a moment to be thankful
That I’m so thankful for my friends and family
For those who are always there for me
To have a roof over my house
To my future spouse
That I’m thankful for God
Who created the heavens and the skies
Who brings out the truth from the lies
Without him I would not exist
That allows me to persist
Towards my dreams
And my goals
Because we have so much to be thankful for
Risk Taker
Don’t be afraid
Don’t delay
Don’t let your passion walk away
Because you have so much to offer
That if we hold back we will never prosper
The only way to move forward is to make a risk
To feel that adrenaline, to become brisk
Without risks we cannot see our full potential
That taking risks is essential
So don’t be scared
Because God is always there
To help us move forward
And push us toward
A purpose, a hope
To give us the will to climb that rope
So be brave
Because you are not a slave
But we are free
To be whatever we want to be
So don’t be scared to be a risk taker
Because we can do all things from someone who is greater
Beauty is Knowledge
Beauty isn’t always just looks
Doesn’t matter if she cleans or cooks
But beauty can come from the heart and mind
There would be no grapes without the vines
Because beauty is knowledge
Doesn’t matter if you had good grades in school or in college
But you yearned to learn
And used what you learn to earn
That there is nothing more attractive than a smart hardworking women
That doesn’t need you to complete her
But chooses you to partner with her
To help each others weaknesses
And help build each others strengths
To be faithful no matter the lengths
So don’t be scared to be smart
But embrace it because you are a work of art
